Going into all the world actually means going outside the church – anywhere around you.
I went to see my son in the city and had decided to treat him to a fabulous lunch. I felt impressed for weeks to go to a specific restaurant. As we sat down, our waitress smiled and introduced herself. She had the most beautiful face piercings and was simply lovely. I immediately felt the love of God for her. As she turned away from us, the Spirit of God spoke and said “She is in a crisis right now.” I watched her come and go from our table with smiles but every time she turned away, I saw something was not right.
At the end of the meal, I asked her if I could talk to her and she said yes. I patted the seat next to me and she sat down. I said, “The moment I saw you, I felt the love of God for you. He says you are in a crisis right now.” Her eyes filled with tears. She had gotten a medical call that morning and would need surgery. She had survived cancer 2 years earlier. She asked me how I knew and I said, “God is your Father in Heaven, He knows everything about you and sent me here today, just for you. Do you know who Jesus Christ is?” She said yes and that her grandmother had been a woman of great faith. I said, “Do you know today is your day to come home to your Father in Heaven?” She nodded and received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. We prayed for God to heal her or get her through the medical challenges. It has been a delight to stay in touch with her.
